Why do I need to be provisionally admitted to a part-time diploma course first before I can be enrolled in the bridging programme?
The bridging programme has been designed to strengthen the academic foundations of trainees to allow them to better cope with the rigour of the diploma courses. These bridging programmes are not avenues for general academic upgrading, and hence they are only available to students that have been granted provisional admission by the polytechnic.
