How do I appeal for my child to take Higher Mother Tongue Language (HMTL) in Secondary 1?

You can approach your child’s posted secondary school. Schools have the flexibility to consider students who do not meet the criteria for HMTL, if they are assessed to have exceptional ability in MTL and are able to offer HMTL without affecting their performance in other subjects.
