The permit condition to display the oversized vehicle sign at the rear of an oversized vehicle aims to improve road safety by enhancing the visibility of the vehicle, and alerting other road users to its presence.

The sign shall be displayed prominently on the rear of an oversized vehicle, and must not obstruct the driver’s rear view, side view, vehicle lamps, and vehicle licence plate.
